Jonathan's Hike to Defeat Depression - Jonathan's Hike to Defeat Depression

Thank you to everyone who supported Jonathan's Hike to Defeat Depression. Jonathan completed an extreme physical feat by completing 5 24hr hikes. As he discussed during his facebook live feed, he wanted to do these hikes during February and March in order to draw attention to the benefits of physical exercise when battling depression. He is pleased to have raised a total $1,260 in support of  Mood Disorders Society of Canada's programs and services. Although the hikes have ended, this page will remain live as Jonathan plans for his next adventure, so please continue to support Jonathan's efforts. Be sure to follow Jonathan on Facebook and check out the Defeat Depression YouTube Channel, Facebook Page, follow the campaign on Twitter and check out our FLICKR PAGE for photos from the event.

Jonathan Toews has hiked the Bruce Trail in 5 separate 24hr hikes to raise funds and awareness for mental health. Jonathan is a seasoned hiker/runner and cyclist who believes in the positive benefits of physical exercise in the battle against mental illness. His passion is inspired from his own struggles with his mental health as well as the struggles his family has faced. Jonathan is looking for passionate individuals to join him on his hike. Even if it's just for a few hours, your contribution will be appreciated.
